Meet Doris Murochia
A message from our founder
Doris Murochia
Founder & Director · M.A. Counselling Psychology
Doris Murochia is an accomplished educator, mentor, and academic coach with over a decade of teaching experience across both national and international curricula, including Cambridge and Edexcel. She holds a Master's Degree in Counselling Psychology and brings a wealth of experience in teaching, student mentorship, and academic development.
Throughout her career she has guided learners across Primary, IGCSE, AS Level, and A Level programmes — helping them achieve academic excellence while developing confidence, resilience, and independent learning skills. She has taught in some of Kenya's respected institutions, including Woodcreek School and Brookhouse Schools, developing deep expertise in curriculum delivery, learner support, and examination preparation.
My vision for Spring of New Hope is a nurturing environment where every learner is inspired to excel, empowered to grow, and supported to achieve their full potential.
